Tayto Tayto Exhibition & Trade Show Case Study

‘Set deep in the heart of the Ulster countryside in Tandragee is Tayto Castle where Tayto crisps and snacks have been made for the past 60 years. A ‘Taste of Home’ our products have been a big part of growing up in Northern Ireland.
We select the finest, specially grown potatoes and gently cook until golden, we then add our specially selected delicious flavours which ensure that Tayto crisps taste like no other, irresistible every time.

For this project we first CNC routed letters out of 50mm thick MDF. We made sure to double check every stage of the cutting process as the material was rather heavy to handle. After all the letters were cut we sand sealed them all. A sand seal is a spray application of asphalt emulsion followed by a light covering of fine aggregates, such as clean sand or screenings.

It can be useful in correcting a number of material flaws. Once sand seal application was all dry we painted them with 2K paint, allowing a beautiful smooth professional finish to the surface.
