Use our laser engraving service to put a quality personal touch
We’re Lasercut Works, and we’ve been engraving pretty much everything in our Bermondsey workshop for over a decade. Wood, acrylic, glass, metal, and leather. You name it, we’ll put your design on it. Fashion brands bring us their accessories. Retail shops need branded displays. Corporate clients want awards that actually look good. And yes, we do wedding gifts and personal projects too. If it needs precision engraving in London, we’ll sort it.
You’ll get two types of lasers here: CO2 for organic materials and fibre for metals. That means we’re not limited to one trick. Got a rush job? We’ll turn it around fast. Need 500 identical items? No problem. Want just one? Also fine. We don’t do minimum orders.
Quality stays consistent
Small studios and big agencies both work with us because the quality stays consistent. Whether you’re ordering custom leather tags for a fashion line or 200 employee name badges, you’ll get the same attention.
Why Choose Our Engraving Services?
ISO 9001 certified
We’re ISO 9001 certified, which sounds boring but actually matters. It means your job gets done right the first time. Specs match. Finish is clean. Delivery happens when we say it will.
Laser engraving is the perfect solution for adding an attractive, professional finish to paper, metal, plastic or any other material you can think of. We can remove the top layer, varying and exactly calculated depths without damaging the reverse side. The surface can be gently or heavily marked. We adapt the laser to suit; from delicate work to heavy-duty labelling.
Oak, birch, MDF, plywood. All work brilliantly. Natural wood gives that warm, tactile feel. Great for signage, gifts, interior panels, and retail displays. The grain shows through, which adds character.
02
Acrylic and Perspex
Clean, modern, versatile. We engrave these for retail POS displays, awards, architectural models, and jewellery. Frosted engraving on clear acrylic looks sharp. Also cuts beautifully if you need shaped pieces.
03
Glass
Trophies, plaques, awards, mirrors, bottles. The engraving catches light differently than printing, so it’s got more depth. Popular for corporate recognition and commemorative pieces.
04
Metals
Stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper. Our fibre laser handles these without breaking a sweat. Jewellery, nameplates, industrial parts, fashion hardware. Metal engraving adds permanence and value.
05
Leather
Fashion accessories, bags, belts, notebooks, and interior details. The mark sits below the surface, so it won’t wear off. Luxury brands use this for product customisation and limited editions.

From the simple to the complex - we cut it.
From simple jobs to complex projects we are set up to see your project is done right and can provide you with the best quality service.
We have a range of laser cutting machines that cater for different types of projects, meaning we are tailored to your needs.
Send us your design as a vector file. AI, DXF, or PDF work best. CAD files, too if you’re technical. We’ll send you a proof so you can see exactly what you’re getting.
02
Preparation
Once approved, your item goes onto either the CO2 laser (for wood, acrylic, leather, and glass) or the fibre laser (for metals). The laser removes material or changes the surface. No inks, no chemicals, just precision heat.
03
Quality Check
After engraving, we’ll clean it up, check the quality, and pack it properly. You’ll get it when we said you would.
04
We can help you
If you don’t have a vector file yet, we can create one from your sketch, logo, or idea. Just talk to us first about what you need.
Wood (oak, birch, MDF, plywood), acrylic and Perspex, glass, metals (stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper), and leather. Each material has different characteristics. Wood shows grain, metal gives permanence, acrylic looks modern, and leather adds luxury. If you’re not sure which material fits your project, we’ll talk through options.
Can you engrave curved surfaces?
Depends on the curve. Gently curved items like bottles or cylindrical objects work with our rotary attachment. Complex 3D curves are trickier. Send us a photo and we’ll tell you straight if it’s doable. We’d rather say no upfront than mess up your item.
Do you offer same-day engraving in London?
Sometimes, yeah. If the job’s small, the material’s in stock, and we’re not slammed, we can turn things around the same day. Call before noon and we’ll let you know. Don’t assume, though. Book ahead if you can.
What's the max size for engraving projects?
Our laser bed handles up to 1300mm x 900mm. That covers most projects, including signage, large plaques, panels, and display pieces. Need bigger? We can split designs across multiple pieces or recommend alternatives. Come talk to us about what you’re planning.
Do I need to supply my own materials?
Not always. We stock common materials: standard plywood, clear acrylic, and some metals. If you need something specific (rare wood species, coloured acrylic, particular metal grade), bring it in or we’ll source it. Sometimes clients bring materials they’ve already bought. That’s fine too.
